subject: Brighten Up Your Backyard Space With Outdoor Fountains From Fathom Fountains [print this page]

If your backyard is in need of a facelift and could use some life breathed back into it, consider thinking outside of the box. Backyard living spaces don't all have to be filled with sandboxes and picnic tables, after all. A nice change might be to move toward a Zen paradise. A soothing and relaxing escape right outside your back door! Creating a Zen paradise in your backyard isn't really as difficult as you may think. You are going to need: fencing, pleasing landscaping, lighting, a seating area, outdoor fountains, outdoor speakers and perhaps a screened in porch.

You will want to make sure that your outdoor paradise is private and gives you a secluded feel from your neighbors, so that you can fully immerse yourself and your guests in your Zen paradise. Make sure you have fencing installed all the way around your property lines, and be sure the fencing is high enough to provide enough privacy. You may also wish to plant tall shrubbery along areas where you may not wish to have additional privacy. You will want to invest in some soothing and pleasing plant life as well as outdoor lighting that is very soothing and soft. You will want your seating area to be comfortable and perhaps centered around one or more outdoor fountains.

By installing outdoor speakers you can pump relaxing music into your backyard living space to soothe and relax your family and friends during outdoor gatherings. The soothing music or relaxing sounds of trickling water from your outdoor fountains will be sure to change the mood from happy hour to a more sophisticated cocktail hour. Should you wish to have a screened in porch installed, consider adding some fountains inside the screened in area as well. You can add hanging wall fountains inside the porch area to save valuable floor space.

Consider adding an arbor or pergola to your outdoor living space to further create a relaxing atmosphere for your guests and to offer plenty of seating during entertaining. Add several regal and stunning floor fountains- they make excellent centerpieces for entryways as well as patios and will certainly be a conversation piece. Not only will you be providing your guests with an amazing Zen like experience instead of a standard party, they will all be envious of your amazing outdoor living space, and will be talking about their experience at your home to all of their friends for months to come.
