Asian Party Supplies and Decorations

Select a color scheme for the Asian theme party as a basis for the party supplies and decorations. Red, gold, and black is a bold choice for a party dcor. Those looking for lighter colors opt for whites, creams, light pinks and lavenders.

Chinese lanterns can be hung in the party area and come in variety of shapes, sizes, with beautiful party decorations. Hang various Asian artwork posters, scrolls, and printouts in the party area. Include a variety of Asian novelties such as hand fans, Chinese Opera Masks (make for nice party favors), paper mache Chinese Dragons, feather boas, and Chinese drum and noise makers.

There are numerous Asian theme lights that include lantern party lights and flower lights that come in a variety of colors and decorative elements on each. Hang the party lights in the upper corners of the party area creating a lovely ambience.

Decorate the party table with the beautiful aid of faux florals and pedals. Popular choices include Japanese Magnolia Blossoms and Chrysanthemums. Use real Chinese Bamboo Plants as a simple Asian party centerpiece. Place a popular Chinese game, Mah Jong, on the party table to play once the Asian feast is completed.

Homemade Chinese scrolls can be made using long sheets of craft paper, tea bags, paint and paint brush. The tea bag is employed to grace the paper with an antique look. Seep the tea bag in water and dip the brush in the water. Apply splashes of tea water to the paper and let it dry. Iron the paper to flatten it out. Once dry, draw Chinese letters using black paint and a brush. Attach wooden skewers or chopsticks to the ends of the scrolls by rolling the ends over the skewer or chopsticks with glue.

The host can prepare a menu that consists of a variety of Asian foods and drinks. Make dishes and drinks that are simple enough to make for a large group of party guests.
