Invite all the Madagascar characters to celebrate a child's birthday or special occasion for this fun theme party. Bring the fun and excitement of Madagascar to the party by playing Madagascar theme games.

Not a Cowardly Lion Tag: This game is played like other Tag games as they run and have fun chasing one another. Have party guests make their very own lion tails by using long string or brown or golden brown yarn. The yarn for this game should be twisted a couple of times and the loose ends at the bottom. Have the players loosely tie the tail around there waists with a piece of string. It must be tight enough to stay on while running but loose enough to come off when pulled. The object of the game is to pull the other players tails off. The player with the most tails at the end of the game wins.

Feed Alex. Lions have a hearty appetite and Alex is no different. Print out a large picture of Alex and cut out his mouth leaving a hole.Place the image on top of the bottom of a box and cut out the same size hole as Alex's mouth tape the image down with tape of a glue stick and decorate the box with other Madagascar imagery. Although many different kinds of been bags can be used to feed Alex. The player who can make the most bean bag throws in a given number wins. Focus and aim good because Alex is one hungry lion.

Pin The Tail On Melman. Melman is a hypochondriac giraffe who is under the impression that he suffers from almost every infection and disease in existence. Now, Melman thinks his tail is missing so reassure that his tail is not gone by pinning the tail on Melman. Use a poster or homemade picture of Melman and giraffe print fabric for the tail. Blindfold each of the players and the one who can come the closest to pinning the tail on Melman is the winner.

Marty Puzzle: Take a large poster of Marty and cut it apart to make puzzles pieces. It is up to the party guests to assemble Marty again. this makes for a fun group activity so the more puzzle pieces the better.
