subject: A Valentine Rose Is Double The Price On Valentines Day [print this page]

Valentines Day is for loversValentines Day is for lovers. Stores all over the country capitalize on the sale of beautiful roses and chocolates for this lovers' day. Well, you could try to hand her daisies and see, but it is not recommended. Women want roses. Red, elegant roses. Their fragrance is irresistible to women. For most women there is nothing more beautiful than a bouquet of beautiful roses placed anywhere in their home.

When purchasing roses, the color red is the color that symbolizes love and romance. Pink are nice, white a bit formal, and yellow roses are very beautiful, too. But if you want it to count as a romantic gesture, your Valentine roses must, without a doubt, be red. But you will pay more for roses, especially red ones, during the Valentines Day season.

Production is actually placed on hold so that farmers have enough roses, especially red roses, to supply consumers with the fabulous flowers on Valentines Day. Then the plants bloom all at once, harvesting needs more labor, and so on. That is why we pay more on Valentines Day. Their price increases to almost double what the roses would cost on any other day. And they could go as high as 64% higher for red roses. Of course, you can get them for a much more reasonable price as large supermarkets and outlets, as these stores buy in bulk. But again, for the romantic spin, keep that a secret. She expects you to spend more on Valentines Day roses.

Choclates are nice, along with a romantic card. But find out what type of chocolate she loves the best. She's probably never met a chocolate she didn't like, but dark chocolate is very popular these days. Dark chocolates are actually good for her health, along with having calming powers. An over-the-top fancy box of chocolates with a romantic card to boot will be hard to ignore. Valentines Day is no time to be cute and funny - save that for the rest of the year. In fact, if you can find a beautiful card with no words inside, try telling her your feelings from your own heart. If you are capable of mustering up some loving, romantic, passionate words, she'll never miss the roses.
