subject: Holiday Banners Are A Great Way To Add A Special Flair To A Celebration [print this page]

Any holiday celebration can benefit from using holiday banners. For the most part, almost any theme can be displayed on a decorative banner, but as with other party decorations making the theme evident will be even better. Nearly everyone will find that preparing the holiday banners in advance will make decorating and party planning easier.

Since holiday banners and other party decorations vary depending on the occasion being celebrated special holiday banners can also vary. For this reason, no matter what the holiday decorative holiday banners can play a key role in decorating.

Christmas holiday banners most often are red and green with a variety of other colors in the mix. Most often these banners say, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, etc and contain images such as Christmas trees, Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus and religious scenes with Jesus as a baby. This type on holiday banner is always a welcome decorative addition to any holiday party or event.

For Valentine's Day the holiday banners can range from romantic with hearts or a silhouette of a kissing or embracing couple to cute little cupids and roses with ribbons, streamers or balloons. Most often Valentine's Day holiday banners will be designed around the Valentine's Day theme.

Easter banners can be religious with three crosses or a proclamation of the risen Christ or they may be fun with bunnies and Easter eggs. These holiday banners are designed using images such as the Easter bunny, Easter eggs or Resurrection. The holiday banners for Easter are most often designed using soft Easter colors with a cute image and wording that says, Happy Easter.

Red, white and blue patriotic holiday banners are great for all patriotic holidays and if made of sturdy material can be reused. More often than not, these holiday banners have a patriotic emblem and utilize the red, white and blue theme. Although most of these holiday banners are similar they are also quite unique. For example, a July 4th holiday banner may specifically have a picture of the Liberty Bell and the date whereas a Memorial Day banner may place special emphasis on the Arlington National Cemetery. Therefore, although many people will find that holiday banners for patriotic holidays such as Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day are pretty similar they can also be very different and unique.

A relatively new way to use holiday banners is to use them all year round, hung outdoors with seasonal scenes on them. These holiday banners may also have words that go along with a holiday or specific season, but more often than not are perfect for the event.
