1. One way to hide those wires is to paint over them. Of course you will probably still be able to see them, but they will have a much cleaner look and feel to them and blend in better with the room. First you need to flatten the wires out as best as you can and then pin them to the wall. Then you can take the paint color that you used on the wall and then blend them in together while you paint.
2. A wiring solution tube is another way that you can hide those wires. If you aren't great at running the wires through your wall, this is a great choice for you. You just put the wires through the tube and then you cant paint over it and it can blend right in with your wall. Especially if you can't make a hole in your wall if yu are renting, this is a great idea.
3. And of course you have the option of just drilling holes in your wall and then running the unsightly wires through. This has been done for decades now and seems to work just fine as long as you don't mind the small holes. After you run the wires then you can fill the holes around with plaster and paint and make it look a little sleeker.
All three of these are great ways to make sure that you give your room a sleek and clean feel and your guests don't have to see those nasty wires.
