In the early 1900 one of the numerous street gangs fromAlmagro district asked their neighbors to play football. The first matches wereconducted on the noisy streets, trams and buses were passing through but they didn't make weather for the future footballers. After the accident with one ofthe participants they decided to find a real stadium.

A catholic priest Lorenzo Massa agreed to help young sportlovers and gave them a ground on the backside of his church. It was LorenzoMassa who created the first street football club - "San-Lorenzo deAlmagro".

In 1930 Isidro Langara came with a group of footballers whojoined the club. San-Lorenzo was also recruited by some footballers from thesurrounding provinces.

In 1946 San-Lorenzo beat "River Plate" in the Argentinean championship and got the first place in the Champions League. Afterthe team lost to "Real Madrid" it managed to overcome"Barcelona" and both Portuguese and Spanish national teams. The mass mediaworld was shocked and this fc was named the world best football team.

In 1960s a new generation appeared, they were called "Carasucias" which means dirty faces. They got Argentineans withtheir offensive and sometimes even aggressive game.

In 1968 the team got a new nickname" Los Matadors" because they didn't lose one game in the championship.

In 1968-1974 managed to get four titles.

In present time San-Lorenzo is still one of the best teamsof the great Argentinean football. Though thy got the worlds name, they havenever showed-off and always emphasize that they are the working-class team.

Their spirit is overwhelming; these unprofessional in thepats guys can storm the ground from the first seconds. Such footballers asCacho and El Negro was and is the best example of dream come true. Their coachLeonardo Madelon never had doubts about his team:" Because they believe".

The "galariosa"-glorious fans of the club usually say :"Me moriria si a mi lado tu no estas"- I would die if you arenot with me".

The only advice that they give is to believe in yourself andfollow your dream. They say they have never worked; they played, real, passionate sometimes aggressive Argentinean football
