subject: A Day In My Life In Bangalore [print this page] I woke up at 5 AM, did a session of yoga for 2 hours and then started working.
In the morning, I had a meeting with the management team at Primus, a public school in Bangalore, followed by another meeting with the marketing team at BMA, one of the top MBA colleges in Bangalore. I prefer finishing my meetings in the morning, and then getting back to office and working for the rest of the day. Somehow, my most productive times are post lunch till around 7 in the evening, and I like to make use of this time doing the most important work.
Most people prefer to finish their most productive work in the morning, and then go about doing the meetings in the evening. I guess it is a personal choice for everyone. For lunch, I met up with a friend who is interested in starting a new venture online. Always good meeting startup enthusiasts and entrepreneurs! Their passion, positivity and optimism to life is truly infectious.
However, once I was done with the meeting at BMA, I had another meeting with Vamsi, the founder of Prakruthi Club & Resort, a resort in bangalore. We were discussing on how Prakruthi could be seen as the top destination for adventures sports in Bangalore, and how we could make that work. With the amount of outdoor activities they provide "" Paintball, Segway, Zorbing, BMX and more I think this is definitely possible. Yesterday, being a Tuesday, and my monthly client "catchup" day "" I wanted to meet another client also.
So once I was done with lunch with my entrepreneur friend, I went ahead for my next meeting. As Vamsi, was coming into town, I set the meeting up at The Paul Bangalore, one of the best 5 star hotels in Bangalore. The Paul"s sister company, Kumarakom Lake Resort, is a beautiful resort in Kerala, and were one of our first clients.
I was done with the meetings around 3 PM, and headed back to office soon after. I worked and finished a few important things till 6 PM, after which I went for a quick 5 KM run. From 7-9PM, I was back working and finishing up on the things that needed to be done before planning the schedule for the next day. I then met some friends for dinner, and was in bed by 10:30.
Normally my days are a little easier, and I do not end up meeting so many people in one day. I keep it to 1 or 2 meetings if I have to. Would be interested to hear from people on how they schedule their day if they have more than 4 meetings.
