If you want to lessen the stress in your life, avoid being with these people. Instead, surround yourself with the people that make you feel lighter and happier.
4. Stop competing with other people. Competing with others, whether in success, appearance, or belongings, is an avoidable source of stress. The stress that comes from envy is one form of self inflicted stress. You must always bear in mind that someone will always be better than you; and that you are better than someone.
5. Learn to accept that you can't change some things. As some sources of stress can be avoided, some can't. You cant prevent or change stressors such as the death of a loved one, a serious illness, or a national recession. Your only option is to accept things.
