subject: Who Says Its Impossible [print this page] Becoming Unstoppable means achieving success in any area of our life we choose or learning to persist and apply ourselves until our challenges are overcome. I believe that that life challenges have been structured this way by design. I believe that man has been so created to yearn for goals far greater than himself and to dream the impossible. I believe that it is only through lifes challenges and our innate desire to pursue and accomplish seemingly impossible goals that the fibre of great character is built. I believe that it is through the pursuance and accomplishment of seemingly unachievable goals that we come to understand the true genius and ability that resides in everyone of us.
Take a look around you I am certain that during its design there were many who believed that the airplanes would never fly (but now we have created Jumbo Jets), there were those who believed that Skyscrapers would never stand (but now they continue to tower higher and higher still), there were those who believed that space flight was impossible (but now we are looking at the possible ways of colonising Mars!).
These visionaries also had moments of doubt, they also felt fear, they also experienced moment when the task appeared seemingly impossible, and they also failed many times before finally attaining success.
Imagine how different our world would have been if they had surrendered to their challenges after the first, second, third, fourth, or even fifth failure (or in the case of Edison after the nine hundredth failure in his attempt to create the light bulb). Instead of resigning to their failure and looking for every reason why the task was impossible, instead of complaining and blaming everyone and everything around them for their failure, instead of developing a negative attitude and a confidence complex as a result of repeated failures; they were able to do the exact opposite of all these negative actions and remain unstoppable because the understood the underlying principles of success how to apply them.
By understanding the principles that underpin success, we become one step closer to being able to access and apply this immense force within us.
The principles of success that have been consistently applied by those who have accomplished much are as follows:
Alertness - Pay constant attention to your state of mind and behaviour
Strategy - Have a clearly outlined process of how you will achieve your goal
Confidence - Believe in your ability to accomplish your objective
Commitment - Stick with it 100%. Whatever it takes.
The reality is this, every great thing that man has achieved has simply led him to the realisation that he could achieve even greater still. By simply looking around us we realise that the ability of man to accomplish grand achievements is truly immeasurable and it is not a gift reserved for a select few. It is a gift that dwells in every one of us - within every race, the poorest, the richest, the disabled and the physically fit, lays the boundless ability to achieve greater still
