However, as they get faced with one challenge after another, this excitement dissipates, increasingly demotivating them until they abandon the dream. It just became too hard. The reason this occurs is that before embarking on any goal, many do not make a pact with themselves to keep going despite all odds.
They get carried away by the excitement and as soon as that dissipates, all motivation is lost. True grit is one of the secret to success. It is what carries one through when all excitement is gone and challenges abound. It is what makes a man true to his dream when all odds are against him.
It is what makes men persevere when everyone around him tells him to give up and accept his fate. Most people give up way too easily and often times do so after having sacrificed much and are closer to achieving their dreams than they realise.
To maintain your fortitude and keep going despite all odds, your dream must be clear enough and the vision of what you wish to achieve must be compelling enough to drive you constantly. When a mans vision of what he wishes to achieve is vague and unclear, it is always all to easy to give up at the first sign of challenges.
However, where a man allows his goal to be so clear that it consumes him and becomes part of his being, any challenge becomes surmountable and all setbacks become but a temporary hindrance
