subject: Easiest Way To Choose Eye-catchy And Cost-effective Labels For Clothing [print this page]

Labels for clothing have become essential over the years.

Have you ever thought of the situation where none of the clothes in this world had any kind of labels or tags? Then each of the textile showrooms and cloth shops would have turned into the latest spots for World War 5, 6 7 and so on! Every customer would be screaming on the sales person as to what he or she wanted to buy, and the poor host would be blinking as to which type of cloth or brand was the customer pertaining!

Labels for clothing have saved the world

Thanks to those small tags and labels for clothing that have saved the world from severe bloodshed! It is because of these small heroes that you just go to a garment shop, mention your favorite, preferred or newly heard tag or label, do the selection from the varieties, pay and come home with a smile.

There are a variety of labels for clothing

There are basically, two types of labels - printed as well as woven. The fabrics used in the labels that have to be printed are made of nylon, polyester, cotton twill, acetate and satin. With a permanent ink, the needed fonts are literally printed on to these materials. These printed labels can stand even after repeated washes. Though they last long, but cannot as long as the woven ones. The prime advantage of printing labels is that it is very cheap. This is the main reason why the budding manufacturers prefer printed labels for clothing, as they are cheap and best.

The woven labels are made of satin or taffeta and damask. They last much longer than the printed labels or tags. The only drawback is that these labels may start sagging in the long run. The customer may feel like scratching it off. Anyways, both of these labels for clothing, be it printed or woven, are available in an array of colors and sizes. This facilitates the manufacturer for selecting from wide varieties than adjusting with a few.

It is obvious that a garment will look bad if the label size and color doesn't suit with it. At the same time, a garment would look equally attractive with a label that has suitable size and color. So, remember to make a wise choice while selecting a cloth tag or label.

Labels for clothing are now a staple in the fashion industry.
