Causes of Cataracts:
As a person grows in the age, the normal vision tendency is losing its power to see.in Cataract a cloud like formation develops in the eye lens. This surgery is conducting to remove the clouded lens and replace it with artificial lens called Intraocular Lens (IOL). The IOL is a plastic lens and does require any special care if being used in our eyes, and it becomes the natural eye ball as we had earlier. There is no need to wear any eyeglass lens too because the surgery itself meant to protect the implanted lens.
Complicated cataracts cannot be extracted like normal cataracts because of potential complications such as other eye conditions, lack of vision in the other eye, or health concerns such as diabetes.
Symptoms of Cataracts:
Although some minor Cataracts affected people find small vision defects. But majority of people between the age group of 65 and above needs to implant the new lens. At the beginning only tearing, without pain and slightly reddish in color appears as the basic symptoms of this disease.
There are Small changes in our life style which can reduce the affect to Cataracts:
Contrast the colour combination with every item like white dishes on a dark tablecloth, etc.
Cover the window with curtains or some shades to avoid direct sunlight.
Always sit against the sunlight contact. Watch TV with appropriate distance.
