subject: Three Helpful Hints To Help You Easily Remember Your Favorite Campsites At Multiply Campgrounds. [print this page]

This exploration is approaching 30 yearsThis exploration is approaching 30 years. When we were younger before kids, a tent was the equipment of choice. As you age and coexist with children you excel more at the camping part. Sometimes enjoying the view from the camper with the A.C. on, when needed, is an acquired taste that you learn to appreciate. In the beginning before we kept our journal, it was hard to remember which spots were prime real estate at all the different campgrounds we would visit. We would write down site numbers only to lose the small piece of paper that it was written on. There was only one solution; we had to start a journal. Let the journey begin.

oPrime tent real estate was our top priority, keeping track of site numbers at each campground. Also on the tracker was cost, contact name and number to make reservations over the phone run smoothly, if it was lakeside, wooded, bathrooms and showers nearby, bait, best time of year to go, etc.

oWatch out Jeffersons, were moving on up to a camper. There is a new top priority. Start immediately tracking the best camp sites that can accommodate your camper length. Do you get water hook ups, power, sewer, satellite?

oPictures, I do believe in a good thousand words. I do not remember when we started taking pictures of the campsite marker of our favorites in the order from best to number five at each campground. Taking a shot of the campground name sign to attach campsite pictures to is very important. I do know when we went digital but since then everything has gotten easier. When youre trying to decide which campground to visit and your favorites are already booked at one campground that can make the decision real easy. Children add new items to the tracker such as playgrounds, swimming beach, pool, is it safe to ride a bike around, whether there are group activities for children put on by the campground?

Now in conclusion, the important thing to remember is to record as much information about the things that are important to your personal needs for each campground you visit. Your wants and needs may vary from anothers. How you store your information or access it can vary. Just make sure the information is accessible. Each camping excursion will help with future plans. And by all means if youre working on the journal and need a break to cook up something on a propane stove. Just do it. Remember your there to camp. The pictures are my favorite part of the journal. Yes, you remember the paperback journal we started with, now for short we call it our multimedia communication device. Good luck and happy camping!
