This would be an astronomical step forward for the smartphone industry, with HD compatible screens only just appearing on the market at the time of writing.
Unfortunately, there is still doubt over whether this potential super phone will ever make it on to the shelves. While officials from both LG phones and Intel have secretly and anonymously leaked details of the proposal, both companies have publicly denied the project. An unveiling of the smartphone was expected at the Consumer Electrics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, but as was none forthcoming, the future of this project is in doubt. It would be a great shame for users of LG phones if this smartphone does not get the green light, because there is no telling what it could do for the company and the smartphone industry as a whole.
