Tiredness is not as simple as it seems to beTiredness is not as simple as it seems to be. There are cases when the feeling of exhaustion is more than what people think it is. In some circumstances, fatigue can be caused by certain medical conditions. Here is a list of the different medical conditions and health issues that leave people feeling exhausted all the time.

CFS

CFS is not the common fatigue that people experience. This chronic fatigue syndrome is persistent and it lasts for a longer time. Some people have to bear the condition for several months while others have to bear the situation for a couple of years. There is no accurate cause for CFS but it has several symptoms that can cause trouble and discomfort to people such as poor immune and digestive systems, interrupted sleep and poor metabolism. Muscle pains and fever are also experienced by CFS patients from time to time.

Sleep Problems

There are many types of sleep problems. Some of the sleep problems will make it difficult for you to fall asleep at night. Others will trigger your body to wake up several times while sleeping. As a result, your body will not be able to have a good rest and will have interrupted sleep at night. One example of sleep problems is the SDB or the sleep disordered breathing. This disorder causes a person to stop breathing at night. The only way to keep breathing normal again is to wake up. Insomnia and narcolepsy are other sleeping problems that should be given attention to. Insomnia will make it very difficult for a person to feel sleepy at night while narcolepsy makes a person sleep at certain times of the day either consciously or unconsciously.

Adrenal Fatigue

The adrenal glands are helpful in providing energy during extreme situations. However, there are also instances when they feel exhausted and overworked. This happens when you continually deprive yourself of sleep and when you are always drinking caffeinated drinks. When the adrenal glands are exhausted, they will not be able to produce energy hormones or adrenaline.

Depression

Feeling down and having lack of motivation are two major symptoms of depression. Both of these symptoms result in tiredness because they encourage poor sleep, malnutrition and lack of physical activity. Depression can be difficult to fight if it reaches a severe level. Medications or psychological assistance may be effective in treating it.

Knowing the medical causes that may be causing tiredness is not enough. You should also be aware of the different things that you can do to fight tiredness. The best thing to do is to improve your lifestyle. Be more positive and avoid getting stressed out. Learn to relax once in a while in order for the body to have time to recover and produce more energy. Always have quality sleep at night and avoid having interrupted sleep. Exercise regularly in order to improve the circulation of blood and oxygen in the body while keeping the body fit and strong. There are many things that you can do to help your body fight tiredness.
