subject: White Wooden Beds Or Double Wooden Beds, Dress Them Up Or Down For That Great Look [print this page]

White wooden beds may project more of a feminine look than say a gun metal grey steel bed, but that doesn't mean they can't be dressed to reflect a more masculine look. White wooden beds or double wooden beds are possibly two styles that are most popular simply because they are so versatile with regards to being dressed. A white bed with bright colourful bedding, cushions and throws in a bedroom lit with candles can look spectacularly romantic (take not gentlemen!). A basic looking wooden bed can look calm and serene with fluffy pillows and white or cream bedding.

Whatever look you're going for then double wooden beds and white wooden beds can help you achieve that look. Creating a look for our bedrooms is often difficult especially when you have male and female input and two completely different personalities and characters. Starting the look with a fairly minimal looking bed can be a good idea; it's neither too feminine nor masculine so you can both add your own finishing touches to create the looks you like. If there is just yourself to consider when planning your bedroom then you have full reign to be as creative, plain or fancy as you like.

As a pure and simple look with bags of style and elegance white wooden beds are a fantastic starting place. You can go all white with painted floor and other painted furniture and even add white bedding and accessories and that can look stunning. Double wooden beds are great for shared rooms and obviously the natural woods come in various shades and tones. Full matching bedroom suits look very good for that co-ordinated look and with a lovely warm shade of wood the bedroom can look very inviting.

A bedroom that entices you to stay awhile is what you want and it doesn't take a lot to get that particular look. Keep your bedroom free from clutter with plenty of storage. If you can keep your bedroom space for sleeping and relaxing only, anything else can cause you to sleep poorly. If your bedroom is your office space you need to keep that part of the room scrupulously tidy or you will have work staring at you whilst you try and sleep! You need a personal place to store your precious belongings in your bedroom so a bedside cabinet and small jewellery boxes are idea.

White wooden beds and double wooden beds are often raised off the floor which creates the illusion of space, if you can keep the area under the bed clear of anything other than maybe your slippers! Bedrooms normally have plenty of storage space so you have no excuse to have things lying around and causing mess. Look around your bedroom and see if it could do with a de-clutter, once you do that you may even find you sleep better. In a bedroom sometimes less is more and whilst a very ornate and decorative bed is lovely to look at it can be a bit overpowering and OTT in some spaces.

You and your bed need to have a long happy time together and get along well so choosing it should take some time. It really isnt worth rushing into buying your bed and bedroom furniture as you will have to live with them for quite some time.
