She also begins a strong friendship, and later partnership, with Karen against Dan's will. However, in the later seasons, the show focuses less on them and the three of them leave the show. Karen marries her college professor,Andy Hargrove(Kieren Hutchison), Dan realizes his sins and temporarily leaves the town, and Deb returns to Tree Hill after an absence but eventually leaves after realizing that her life, as she knows it, is over.
TheEight Seasonbegins with Quinn and Clays lives hanging in the balance after a brutal attack that affects all their friends and family. Nathan is about to start his second season at the NBA, while Haley is pregnant with their second child. Brooke Davis will also wed Julian Baker, not sure if the fans will see this depends on weather or not the show gets picked up. At the start of the season, Brooke is arrested on charges that she falsified documents and lied to investors about the profit of Clothes Over Bros. She was framed by her mother and her assistant Millicent. Quinn wakes up, but Clay is still trying to recover from the gun shot wounds; twelve hours after they were shot, they arrived at Tree Hill Hospital's emergency room.
