We strongly recommend to customers to do their due diligence and hire only a reputable paving and seal coating contractor. Some suggestions are to check the contractor's rating with the Better Business Bureau, check their website, check references, check to see if they are a member of the Chamber of Commerce and get certificates of insurance, both General Liability and Worker's Compensation. To reduce the chance of any unforeseen problems, making sure the contractor is the right size company to handle your project is important. Be clear the contractor has the necessary equipment and resources to complete the job on time. Also, be aware of companies that are so big that your project doesn't get put on the back burner.
