Indian World Cup winning hero, Yuvraj Singh is just recovering from a non-malignant lung tumour has missed out two series against England and West Indies. Is nowtargeting Australain ODI series comeback during the limited-overs matches in Australia in February 2012.

Yuvraj said he had resumed training and he would be able to start practising like normal after a week. Yuvi stated that, he will be ready for the one-dayers in Australia. He just cant wait to have that India logo on his shirt again and represent his country. Yuvraj is desprtae to wear that India cap again.

The elegant left handed batsmen cricket cricketing career has been full of ups and downs. Yuvi is the Player of the Tournament during Indias 2011 World Cup victory and that performance raised hopes of a Test comeback. But injury which made him from the home series against West Indies. However, Yuvraj was initial part of England preliminary sqaud for Test series, but he had to return back due to finger injury sustained during the Nottingham Test. Meanwhile, Yuvraj was then left out of the Test squad for the final match of the home series against West Indies in November. As Yuvi asked the BCCI to not consider him for selection for the home ODIs against West Indies because he wanted time to regain fitness.

30-year-old, Yuvraj Singh he had been seriuosly troubled by bouts of coughing and vomiting since the World Cup but had ignored the problem during the tournament. He assuming it was due to stress, later it was revealed that a golf-ball sized growth on his left lung and Yuvraj was told it could be malignant.

Yuvi stated that he was living his biggest dream by winning the World Cup and taking the Man-of-the-Tournament trophy too; and then got to know that he had a tumour in his lung. So he just couldnt understand how life could serve him both at virtually the same time at 2010 had already been bad for him. That why he decided to fight one injury after another. And this the tumour came, said Yuvraj Singh.

Indian all-roundr Yuvraj was also part of Indias disastrous tour of England but said he found it difficult to focus. The non-playing days were tough. But once he was on the field, he used to forgot everything. The pain, the fear vanished. The finger injury ended Yuvrajs tour but he said his body needed a break by that time. The injury needed to test and thats when he realised the big truth, and it is a fight time for him so he cant fight his own body.

However, Yuvraj Singh went through several rounds of medical tests in order to ascertain the exact nature of the tumour, which was found to be non-malignant. For the first time in a long while, he had a big smile on his face, and says that it feels different, its like a new life for him. Its almost like starting a new life all over again.
