subject: How Will You Know The Right Entrepreneur Opportunities? [print this page]

Like many these days you are seeking entrepreneur opportunities that you hope will help you change your financial picture for the better. Maybe you're hoping to improve your lifestyle with some added cash. Perhaps what you're hoping to accomplish is far more radical that that; replacing your current unsatisfying job or career with one that not only has the potential to generate a lot of income, but that you'll feel excited about every day. It could also be that you simply can't stand the thought of enriching others at the expense of your own future even one more day! All of these are good reasons. The question is, how will you recognize the right opportunity for you?

What Type of Person Are You?

Are you attracted to the possibilities and lifestyle of network marketers, who can make incredible sums of money while socializing with people? Are you a people person? You pretty much need to be if you're going to pursue and opportunity of this type.

Are you someone who would rather fly under the radar, building an organization that doesn't seek the spotlight, but manages to make sales and carve out a great living unnoticed? Either type of personality, or in fact anyone in between the two can be a success online with any number of entrepreneur opportunities.

It's important that you recognize your strengths going in, so as not to waste time in a business you may not be suited for.

The Right Opportunity Will Present Itself!

This may sound a little "woo-woo", but the right entrepreneurial opportunities will indeed present themselves when you are actively seeking programs which are suited to your makeup and abilities. The key to this is to be actively seeking! If you are out there, sorting through the various businesses you could work, and there are many, you will run across a few that feel right. Put them on a short list.

Once you've got your short list, check each option out one by one, getting a feel for the company and the people that work for it. Investigate the company on several search engines as well, and if they have a Facebook Fan Page, be sure to read it to see the tenor of the comments and discussion going on there. Do the same for Twitter. You can learn a lot this way.

The Mechanics of Deciding On an Opportunity

When you've narrowed your list down to a handful, make your choice based on a few practical concerns. One, which offers the best pay plan, and how fast can you start earning? Two, how much help is available to get you off the ground. You don't want to be left to fend for yourself. Three, what types of people are you talking to? Do you like them? Are these people you would associate with if not for this business? Lastly, of all the entrepreneurial opportunities you have looked at, does this one excite you?

Answer these questions honestly and you will very likely be starting a new business quite soon!
