According to medical experts high heeled shoes are one of the worst things you can do for your feet. From various injuries to your own foot a stilleto heel is a pretty lethal weapon especially on a crowded dance floor. So why do most women ignore this invaluable medical advise. The fact is we love this type of shoe and here are a few reasons why.

They Make You Taller

Vertically challenged women everywhere will tell you how they love to look taller. Even if you do not need extra height, having it can make you feel good. It is a truly heady feeling to slip on a pair of shoes and instantly be 3 or 4 inches taller, and reaching things on the top shelf, a high like no other.

Unlike skinny jeans, cropped leggings, or whatever other torturous styles are appearing on the runways, high heels wont make you look fat. Granted, some styles are more flattering than others, but as a general rule, heels are more slimming than flats.

They Finish off an Outfit

A pair of jeans and a t shirt can take on an entirely different look when tall shoes are added, and nothing can make a plain skirt pop like the perfect pair of pumps or sandals. They add a feminine touch to suits as well.

They make You Feel and Look like a Woman

Just putting on a pair of high heels can make you feel more beautiful, they also can make you look beautiful as well. They change your body stance, making calf muscles more pronounced, and forcing our butts and chests out its nearly as if high heels force us into better posture and good posture is always beautiful.

They do not Have to Cost a Fortune

It is easy to spend a fortune on high heels, but inexpensive brands can look great. There are few things that can cost as little and make you feel quite as happy, as a pair of killer shoes.

How to walk in your high heels

Get in touch with your abdominals muscles and hold your tummy in. Pull your shoulders back this will improve your posture and naturally put your chest out. Then walk with one foot directly in front of the other.
