Read the instructional manual before starting to pack anything. While packing a stove, remove the loose grates and wrap them with bubble wrap. Gas should be completely off before you disconnect the lines. You can give a call to the gas company for taking a piece of advice, to avoid any gas leak. It is better that you pack the stove in its original carton.

Dissembling is the key to a successful packing, as far as the kitchen appliances are concerned. Always clean and dry items thoroughly before packing, so that the moisture does not attract insects and bugs. Label well all the boxes, so that the professional movers that you have hired for relocation may get to know the contents of the boxes. You can write content description and room location on the top of the boxes.

Always keep similar items in one box. Crush several pieces of plain newsprint or brown paper on the bottom of the box before packing anything. Use FRAGILE label for boxes containing china-ware and glass items.

Appliances like a coffee maker and microwave are indispensable for your kitchen, hence they need to be transported in a very careful manner to your new home.
