subject: What Determines The Price Of A Rental Tent? [print this page]

When renting a tent for party rentals Kansas City, MO, the pricing may not be as cut and dry as you expect. This can be a good thing, actually. There are a number of factors that weigh into a tents overall price, and some of them actually work in your favor. Here are some of the most important considerations that weigh into the price of a tent rental at Big T Tents.

Size

This one is obvious: A large tent costs more to rent than a small tent. However, its not a flat scale from one end to another. Rather than charging specifically by the square foot, a twenty foot by twenty foot tent may rent for $175 while a sixty by sixty foot tent will rent for $1185. The larger tent costs about six times as much, but its actually nine times as large in terms of square feet. The larger the tent you rent, the less you typically pay per square foot.

Event

The event actually determines what type of tent you need, and therefore, how much you pay for it. A wedding requires a nearly-new tent, for instance. For a nearly-new tent, youre going to have to expect to pay the full rental price. However, for older tents, you may wind up paying far less than you might for a wedding tent. This means that setting up for, say, a barbecue or an outdoor sales event may actually be much cheaper than setting up for a wedding with exactly the same size tent.

Accessories

The accessories that you need are a factor, but these items are priced quite affordably. An eight foot banquet table with a dozen chairs might not even total twenty dollars, while a hundred feet of siding might only cost about sixty dollars. Setting up a large outdoor event can get very expensive, very quickly, and thats why Big T Tents offers some of the most affordable pricing in the Kansas City Metro Area, both on the tents themselves, on the accessories and on the services that we provide, hence set up and tear down both being included in the rental price itself.

All of the prices quoted here are subject to change, of course, and have only been used as examples to show that the pricing on tent rentals is actually quite flexible. If the tent that you want is unavailable, we may be able to offer a good deal on another one. If you place an especially large order for chairs, we may be able to work out some special deal, and of course, there may be sales and promotional events going on.

The point is that the prices are very flexible, and this can, and often does, work in the customers favor. For large orders, special orders and certain types of orders, you might be able to shave a dollar here and there off the price of your rental, so always feel free to ask about special deals and discounts.
