Having a yellow belt might not qualify you to be a CEO of a major company, but it will give you the chance to learn everything there is to know about the company and will allow you to learn the basic and most fundamentals of the company you work for. They also serve as the under core to the black and green belts that may be involved in bigger aspects of the company. If the music company had more than one store, the need for a black or green belt would be beneficial.

The yellow belt also has personal experience to help act upon ways to reduce wasteful products and to facilitate between personnel and the other belts on the team. Many of the smaller projects a yellow belt is involved in could easily escalate into bigger projects such as expansions.

A yellow belt graduate will be able to monitor the staff of a medium or small level company and be able to sell the program to their employees. It takes some work, but being able to change the morale of a company through new techniques might be all that you company needs and a Six Sigma yellow belt is probably the right person on a smaller level.

For smaller and medium sized companies the yellow belt would be beneficial and an asset to any business that feels the need implement the six sigma level but at a much smaller scale.
