The bigger will be the range of light; more area will be treated through it. The second method is the diode process. In this technique, greater wavelength laser ray are used. The larger rays pierce the skin deeper and causes less damage to the upper layer called epidermis.

However, this treatment has some side-effects attached to it, like the reddening of the treated area or swelling.
