subject: Steve Paul Jobs Demission: A Beautiful Disappointment? [print this page]

On August 24th,2011, Steve Jobs resigned as CEO of Apple, which he co-founded in 1976. As soon as the board of directors declared this news, the whole world was shocked.

Apple is leading the consumer technology world with its revolutionary iPhone, App store, its family of ipad media players and so on. As the CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs makes great contribution not only to Apple company but also to the worlds IT trades. Jobs is a man who has all kinds of fantastic ideas and brings forth new ideas constantly in the design of Apples electric products which develops a manner of his own. And this characteristic style of Apple attracts tens and thousands people in the world.

Just as the popular world goes-three apple changed the world: one lured Eve, one pounded Newton awake and the last one was in the hands of Jobs. But now, because of his terrible state of health, Jobs resigned as CEO of Apple and named Tim Cook as the new successor. This news was rigid beyond belief and most people felt regretful over the matter. From my points of view, his demission is a beautiful disappoint just as the unfilled corner of Apples trademark, giving people unlimited hope and imagination.

Reviewing the past, we can see that Jobs is really skilled in the IT trades. He leads the tide of designing fashionable electric products. However, as he said in the resignation: I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apples CEO, I would be the first to let you know . Unfortunately, that ay has come. Surely, serious illness brings him out of the circle and it is undoubtedly a regret to the whole world. But we should bare in mind that it is also a beautiful disappointment. We should believe that Apples brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it and look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role, just as he expects in the resignation. His demission would be deeply sculptured in the history of IT world and all the people would remember this beautiful disappointment forever. At the same time, we still believe that although Jobs has resigned, Apple will be there and guides its staff forward. This beautiful disappointment will one day leads perfect success!
