On 30th of September a new game, Final Fantasy 14, was released to the public. There was extensive promotion and advertisement for the game prior to the release and they will continue adding more details on the site. The game is grasping. It takes hold of a player and makes them forget to even eat and sleep.
The service is open to public at large. Players can customize the character in any way they want. They can change the look and appearance of the character and play any level or class they want to. There are 18 classes in all. The game is intriguing with a lot of different aspect and different challenges in every class. Players are even allowed to get help from other players to clear the levels and reach the realm of Eorzea. The challenges are captivating and it will keep people hooked on to their computers for hours at end. The best part is that this is just the beginning.
There are different worlds that are offered to the players. These were offered to them since 21 of September and they will keep adding new ones. The 17 worlds that have already been released are Cornelia, Kashuan, Gysahl, Mysidia, Istory, Figaro, Wutai, Trabia, Lindblum, Besaid, Selbina, Rabanastre, Bodhum, Melmond, Palamecia, Saronia, and Fabul. The site declared that if the server gets every populated then more Worlds will be added. This is to prevent from any kind of congestion so that the people can play the game without facing any problems.
There are five jobs under the disciples of war. These jobs are Archer, Pugilist, Lancer, Gladiator, and Marauder. They all have an individual weapon and a different class. Changing the weapon changes the class and the level which is appropriate according to the weapon.
Archers are known because they have a job which includes knowing the skill of archery. This is the use of bow and arrow. Different types of arrows have a different kind of effect on the people. Pugilists are also known as boxers. They use their knuckles like claw to fight the enemy. This requires close combat. Lancer is a pole like weapon which has spears on the end. It causes mid level physical harm to the enemy. This can be used to attack more than one person at a time. Gladiator is a job which consists of sword and a shield. It is a tank type job which requires close combat. Marauder uses an axe to do physical damage to the enemy. They require close combat as well. They also cause harm to enemy who are nearby.
The five disciples differ from each other only cause of the distance that is present between the player and the enemy. The player has to know which weapon would be convenient to use at the particular time. This has to be done keeping in mind the distance and the effect it has on the enemy. Positioning the player correctly is the key to achieving success in the game.
