subject: Bring On The Water And Bring On The Weight Loss In Nashville [print this page]

Most people are not aware of how much water they should be drinking each day, and even more people has greatly aided in my progress when it comes to weight loss in Nashville.

If you have not been drinking enough water, your body becomes dehydrated, and often the symptoms of dehydration become confused with the common symptoms of hunger. If you are not careful, pretty soon you will be reaching out for the closest snack when really all your body wanted was a glass of water.

Even worse, if the closest snack around is a bag of chips or some popcorn, you end up feeling even more dehydrated than you did in the first place. If you mistake these symptoms for hunger again, you are getting yourself stuck in a down ward spiral.

What I have noticed is that if I make sure that I am drinking plenty of water throughout the day, not only do I feel better, but I also don't feel as inclined to overeat as I usually would. This is saying a lot because I love to eat.

When I sit down for dinner, instead of feeling like I'm starving and need to eat everything in sight, I feel very content. Instead of chomping at the bit for dessert, I'm thinking, "Oh Man! That dessert looks good, but I'm so full."

Another benefit of drinking plenty of water is that it aids in digestion. Many diets begin with some sort of cleanse that involves basically living on a liquid diet for a day or two, but you could give your body a nice cleanse daily just by giving it the water that it needs.

What I am suggesting is that if you are struggling with your goals regarding physical fitness and weight loss, it would be well worth your while to pay a little more attention to how much water you are drinking each day.

It will make you healthier, it will help you to feel better, and it will help you to curb your cravings for all that junk food that you know you shouldn't be eating in the first place.

The next time that you are feeling tired or light headed and are feeling tempted to dig into your cupboard for a salty or sweet treat, try heading to your sink for a drink of water instead. It could very well be that a simple glass of water could be the answer to all your weight loss in Nashville woes.
