Seperation gives couples the time to resolve their differences and to think over whether they actually want divorce or not. Even after seeration if the couples feel that they cannot live together then they can file for a divorce.
Divorce means the annulment or dissolution of marriage, which is painful for every individual involved, be it the couple or the children. There are many issues which may lead to the breakdown of marriage such as abandonment, abuse (sexual, physical or substance) and lack of commitment as well as communication. Earlier marriage used to signify monogamy, however things have changed over the years and a growing concern in the society is infedilty and polygamy; which has destroyed a number of marriages.
