When we talk about development here, it relates or refers to a number of terms. Its not just development from materialistic point of view. Man started evolving his inner self as well. This gave birth to what's called religion.
Defining religion is not an easy job. The more we try to define it, the more hypothetical it starts getting. Well, to be a bit precise, religion is nothing but a collection of cultural systems, belief systems and a number of views. It usually establishes symbols that relate to humanity to spirituality and moral values. If we try to explain it in another way, its an attempt made by humans to establish contact with conceptualized and higher power. Religion is used as a prime shield of protection, and it draws a large number of people due to a certain amount of fear among people as well.
Religion, the word or term is at times, interchanged and related to faith or belief systems. But it is widely believed that, religion and religious views are somewhat personal and have got nothing to do with what an others usually think or opine. Most of the major religions around the world have certain organized behaviors, which includes clerical hierarchies. Religions are usually practiced generally includes sermons, commemoration of the activities of God, sacrifices, festivals, feasts, meditation, music etc, which usually relates one or another aspect of human culture
Religions have developed in a number of ways from time to time. These usually depended on the way; people viewed and formed opinion about their respective cultures. A number of religions which exist in this world in different names follow one or more route. Some believes in practicing while others believe in plain belief. Some religions often claim religions to be universal, believing their laws and cosmology to be binding for everyone. On the other hand, other intends it to practice only within a closed group or a pre defined circle.
Academicians who have been studying religion for a long period of time have divided religions into three broad categories. These are world religions, a term which is mainly sued to describe international faiths, and indigenous religions.
In fine, we can say that, religion, the very word has a vast horizon within it. It has seen numerous definitions and views from time to time. Nevertheless, it exists as super dominant force in a human's life.
In fine, it can be said that, religion, as a term encompasses several other concepts within itself. It's usually a set of beliefs which are followed by the people, throughout the world. Existing as an influencing force, all around, and it beings in tremendous impact in the lives human being.
