St George Illawarra's NRL premiership celebrations are overshadowed by the death of a man was arrested after a brawl outside the St. George Club overnight.

Police classes were called to fight outside the club around Kogarah 00:30 (AEDT) after a guard was attacked.

They say they have arrested two men, one of whom was tasered, and the second was directed to, sweet peppers spray.

The second man, 35 year-old was hospitalized after he lost consciousness and then say the exact died.Police cause of death has not yet been known.A a witness, who gave him the name of Kristy, "said the man was repeatedly tasered while handcuffed.

"There were three people, pepper sprayed a man who was really messed up," he said. "By this, he was handcuffed on the spot, and they just kept tasing [sic] him."

He asked them to stop, they kept tasing him, and then began to restart her heart, she apparently stopped breathing. " The police have formed a critical incident task force to investigate the death and says he does not make any further comments.

Three men involved in a fatal brawl at a leagues club during celebrations for the Dragons' NRL grand final win had been drinking but were "not heavily intoxicated", the club's general manager says.

General manager of St George Leagues Club at Kogarah, Danny Robinson, said the entire incident had been captured on CCTV. A copy had been handed to police, he said.

Police said a 35-year-old man, who had been sprayed with capsicum spray on the eastern terrace of the club about 12.20am, had died. He was later identified as Steven Bosevski.
