subject: Full Face Helmets For Bmx A Gift For Life [print this page]

I gifted my 7 year old nephew a brand new bicycle as his birthday gift. The kid never had a real bike in his life and till date he has only rode the plastic push cart. As other young kids, even he was very excited to see the bike and sneaked into the nearby park to try the bike. Needless to mention, just few rounds in the bike and he already got a bump on his head. I was scared to see that. I was worried if the boy gets traumatized, he will never want to ride a bike again. But his father and my brother-in-law suggested that we should gift him a full face helmet for BMX to bring back the interest of the little kid in riding the bicycle

My brother-in-law is very passionate about riding bikes and undoubtedly he wanted his son to be a great rider as well. So, when the idea regarding the full face helmets for BMX came into picture, I was not surprised. We both sat down browsing through the Internet to find a good youth BMX helmet for my nephew. To our surprise, we found a long list of youth full face BMX helmets in different sizes. I remembered the time when we were a kid, we could hardly get anything that used to fit us. However, today you get hundreds of choices from leading protection companies even for a kids helmet.

As a father, my brother in law enquired with the support team of the website regarding the safety of the helmets. He also asked about the specification of the helmet to make sure that the helmet is buying for his son is good enough to save his son from all future bumps. Luckily, the helmet my brother-in-law chose for his son was also available in red color with beautiful patterns drawn on it.

We ordered the BMX helmet online and it arrived within a week. Similar to our expectations, my nephew was more than happy to have it. He said he already felt like an adult and without wasting any further time, he jumped on to the road with his bike and the helmet to inspect his new possession. Thanks to the full face helmet for BMX, my nephew seems to completely forget what happened with him earlier.

Today, my nephew is 10 years old and he got his second BMX helmet. Not that the first one was broken, but his head outgrew it. The habit of wearing BMX helmets right from the young age can help in avoiding accidents. By teaching children about the importance of safety from an early age we can make sure that they value their own safety as a grown-up.
