Pure and simple, it is the worldwide energy shortage.
We are running out of fossil fuels and regardless of what the pundits say, we can't make more oil and we cannot make more coal. We have to make use of the free energy the swirling around us every day in order to power our electronics in the future. There's no question about that. We cannot count on our politicians to manufacture cheap oil for us when none exists.
Wind turbine kits offer us a way out of this pit. By making energy at home from the free wind that surrounds us every day, we can start to get a grip on independent power production and cut a big chunk out of the costs that electricity demands.
Here is why I say that:
No new reserves have been found that aren't difficult to get at - while we do hear from time to time about well companies finding new reserves around the world, those reserves are very difficult to get. In other words we have oil available on the planet, but it is either locked up in some state that is difficult access, or it is too deep to get at economically.
Many formerly 3rd world countries are becoming Westernized - this is perhaps the strongest force in the mix. China, for example, is rapidly trying to westernized itself. That means that automobiles are being driven and factories are being constructed. As power plants are being built in China with reckless abandon, their lack of environmental laws are allowing them to pump millions of tons of carbon very quickly into the atmosphere and wrecking any chance of a green environment.
Our daily lives are controlled by transportation and let's face it, all of our lives are based on being able to get from one place to another very cheaply. The products that we buy in any Walmart these days are the result of cheap energy. Without low-cost oil there would be no bluelight specials at Kmart and there would be no super cost cutter items at Target or at Walmart.
Wind turbine kits are the solution, at least for us at home. By making our own power there we are taking control of the electricity that we so desperately need to fund the electronic lifestyle we have come to love and depend on.
