subject: Jumeirah Group Launches Ocean Pearls At Jumeirah Dhevanafushi Maldives [print this page]

A cluster of luxury water villas have been added to the all-suite hotel and resort, Jumeirah Dhevanafushi, in the Maldives.

Last week, the Jumeirah Group announced the opening of Ocean Pearls at their first Maldivian property. Tourists taking Maldives holidays will be able to relax at the luxurious water villas which are suspended on platforms above the crystal clear turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.

The villas are located 800 metres from the main island and resort and are entirely self-dependent with their own facilities.

Guests choosing to spend their Maldives holidays at the Ocean Pearls will feel like they are in the middle of the ocean thanks to the unique over-water concept and unobstructed panoramic views. There are two types of villas to choose from: the 270-square-metre Ocean Revive and 340-sqaure-metre Ocean Sanctuary. Both feature high ceilings; full length, infinity edged windows; timber flooring; private swimming pool, decking and sun loungers and beach or lagoon access; marble plunge bath in the bathroom; personalised maxi bar with wine fridge, Nespresso and tea making facilities; Apple Media Centre; and private massage and dining sala.

Unlike most other Maldives hotels, when staying at the Ocean Pearls, visitors wont have to travel back to the main island to use facilities during their luxury holidays because the water villas boast their own amenities including a shared two-tiered infinity pool, a bar, a gourmet Johara restaurant, in-house dining, a library, spa treatment rooms, a circular arrival jetty, over-water hammock, day beds and service bar. If guests want to head back to the main resort to use the facilities, a 24/7 boat limousine service is at their disposal.

The Jumeirah Dhevanafushi is situated on Meradhoo Island in the Gaafu Alifu Atoll and offers idyllic tropical surroundings for travellers enjoying holidays in the Maldives at this exclusive resort.

Tourists can take a stroll along white sand palm-fringed beaches, enjoy gourmet cuisine at Khibar, Azara, Mumayaz and Johara restaurants, or take part in leisure activities such as snorkelling, canoeing, windsurfing, scuba diving, sailing or deep sea fishing.

Jumeirah Dhevanafushi is the first in Jumeirah Groups collection of Maldives hotels to be opened and is located 400 kilometres south of the nations capital, Male. The Jumeirah Group operates several hotels and resorts across the world in destination including London, Frankfurt, Dubai, New York and Shanghai.
