subject: Escapse The Useless Formalities Of Schools, Fill And Submit Application Form Online [print this page]

A meek nun sat behind the huge desk at the reception. She looked beyond her rimmed glasses and pointed to a board that said Silence please. A number of parents laughed under their breaths. Each of them had heard that dialogue when they were in school. This was the auditorium that had the alumni seated on comfortable leather chairs. They had that privilege; but there were a number of parents lined up outside the school, who stood in the scorching heat waiting for forms. One parent had filled the form in green ink and had to listen to a lot of talk from the Jesuit father who was on duty to check how the parents had filled the forms up.

A parent had made a lot of mistakes on the forms which when scrutinized by the Jesuit father on duty caused a heated argument. Why cant you take a Xerox copy and fill it once in rough yelled the father instead of wasting a form. I dont have a problem giving you another form, but it is you who will be at a loss, having to buy another. Another parent shouted at the peon outside for having pushed him in line. We are not animals for you to push us around. Fed up of standing in line an overweight parent almost fainted. The sale of forms stopped for a moment as the doctor on campus rushed to the spot. It was the heat.

One parent was told to wait only because the nun didnt have change. Instead of keeping quiet the parent said first your forms are sold at 200 Rs. Then we parents are forced to buy the prospectus for another 300/-when we dont need it. How much more money of ours will you eat up?. Mrs. Ramani, came back home and thought about everything that went on at school. She felt it was so unnecessary and decided to search online for some agency that could make the admission process smoother. There were e-admission portals in the US and UK she scrolled down to find onlineschooladmissions- She had finally found an Indian portal that would do everything for a parent during admissions. What else could she ask for?
