The iPhone 4S is selling for $199, $299 or $399, depending on features. According to Stan Schroeder, Mashable, the iPhone 4S is available in the U.S., Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and the UK, and its coming to 22 more countries on Oct. 28 and more than 70 countries by the end of 2011.
To put the iPhone 4S sales in perspective, Samsung has sold 10 million Galaxy S II Smartphones in the first five months on the market. It took three weeks for Apple to sell 3 million iPhone 4 units, and it took 74 days to sell the first million units of the original iPhone.
Why are iPhone 4S sales so amazing? According to the San Francisco Chronicle, The release represents the end of Apple's era under Jobs, who died this month after an eight-year battle with cancer. The iPhone 4S has received mostly positive reviews for its voice- recognition software, speedier processor and improved camera. The device also provides Apple with fresh ammunition in its fight against Google Inc.'s Android software, which will appear on a host of new Smartphones in the year-end holiday season.
Dozens of my friends are buying the iPhone 4S. When my friends get the new iPhones, I am sure they will want some of the cool new accessories like the iPhone 4 Power Charging Case that has a built in battery to recharge your phone when your iPhone is low on battery juice.
