Usually, mechanical coin mechanism accepts only one type of coin which is very common in gumball vending machines and other types of machines such as game machines, ticket machines and the like. This type of coin mechanism is very affordable and simple, however its chances of jamming is quite high compared to electronic coin mechanism.
Electrical Coin Mechanisms
Electrical coin mechanism is more sophisticated than the mechanical. It can be programmed to identify and accept different kinds of coins according to its shape and size. They also jam less and have more security features and are more expensive than mechanical coin mechanisms.
