Once hit with the realization that their relationship could no longer be, out of desperation and vengeance, Jason Lowen resorted to conjuring unfounded allegations against his former friend David Nugent in hopes of brute-forcing a broken relationship back together. When it was clear that there was no chance of patching up, Lowen drew the attention of a metropolis, if not the entire nation of the Philippines, when he began channeling his baseless defamations through a Manila broadsheet and began attacking not only his friend, but the heads of office where his friend worked, and even the conglomerate itself. He wished to bring down First Pacific (inclusive of Metro Pacific, PLDT, & Smart Communications), Manny Pangilinan, et. al. -- even the presidential family of the Arroyo's. Nothing was going to stop this spurned lover until he captured or at least fully destroyed his ex-friend down to parade rest.
Perhaps drawing motivation from Gorrell's blog success, Lowen followed in his footsteps by waging a cyber war that would cross the Pacific all from his room in West Hollywood, California. The personal attacks began about only two years ago, but caught on like wildfire. In a country where gossip makes national news, Lowen's concoctions of scandalous material was immediately bought, regardless of their authenticity. He rummaged through company files and devised stories of employee deception and investment squandering, putting head honcho Manuel 'Manny' Pangilinan (so-called MVP) in a tight position, and David Nugent in an even tighter one due to the pressures to deal with and get back together with Lowen. Career-wise, Lowen quickly crippled his once best buddy. A brutal and heartless liar, Lowen was relentless and did not pull the plug.
Lowen kept on with the production of libelous material via the shielded pathways of the internet. Yet, as a reader and onlooker, it makes one wonder, what are all factors behind all the attacks and hate? Shrouded by it all, what motivates a certain Jason Lowen to pour all his time and effort (and essentially relinquishing his life) into these terrorizing tactics?
