subject: What Is The Fastest Way To Burn Fat [print this page] The fastest way to burn fat is through a combination of intense dieting and intense workouts, plain and simple. I know probably not the answer you wanted to hear but hear me out for a second. Im not saying that you have to starve yourself and not eating a single thing. That is something I would never advise to anyone. Its not healthy and will almost guarantee that you fall off the wagon and binge on unhealthy junk food. And also with your exercise program, you dont have to be a slave to the treadmill and feel like a hamster in a hamster wheel cranking out miles every day for up to an hour or two per day. Thats ludicrous if you ask me and something not everyone can do or wants to do. What you need to do is really dial in your diet and change up your exercise routine drastically. If you do these two things, which Im about to show you, then I guarantee you will rapidly burn body fat.
Now with regards to your diet program, you need to up your protein intake, drop your carbs and increase your consumption of healthy fats and green vegetables. I want you to only eat 6 small meals a day consisting of 1 serving of protein from chicken, eggs, egg whites, protein shakes, lean meats such as beef or pork, fish or tuna. When it comes to your carbohydrate intake since you want to lose belly fat as fast as possible, I would say you to really just cut out all of your carbs so you can go slightly into ketosis.
This can take some time, but during this period your body will be burning mostly body fat for fuel, which is what you ideally want. The reason for this is because in the absence of insulin, lypolysis is quite high. All lypolysis means is your body using fat for fuel. Plus my guess is a lot of the carbs that you eat on daily basis arent from the good kind. Like most Americans we eat too much bread, pasta, and wheat based foods and snack that contain a lot of gluten in them. Gluten is a protein found in grains that cause havoc on the inside of our bodies.
Most of the time we dont even realize it but it can cause a lot of information inside of our gut which then multiplies throughout the body. This is because our bodies never evolved on wheat. We only started introducing it into our diets around 10,000 years ago when we began to settle down and domesticate. Also you should be increasing your consumption of healthy fats such as fish oil, extra virgin olive oil, and assorted nuts such as walnuts, macadamia nuts, and almonds. You can also add in coconut butter or coconut milk since the saturated fat found inside is Lauric Acid. Studies have found that Lauric Acid is quite beneficial for our health and our immune system. Also make sure to consume plenty of green vegetables.
The reason why I prefer green vegetables is because they contain a lot of fiber and help to keep me full for a long period of time. Plus, they contain almost zero traces of carbohydrates so feel free to eat as much of these as you want throughout the day. Fill up on your veggies to avoid any cravings and to help you stay full.
Now with your exercise routine, its going to quick and intense. I want you to burn up as many calories as possible in the shortest amount of time. This is going to create the afterburn effect inside of your body allowing you to burn extra calories over a period of a few hours. This is something that is not achievable if you just went for a jog or hopped on the treadmill for a few hours. So some great challenged based workouts that you can do is my 100 Burpee challenge. For this little workout, all you do is try to finish off 100 Burpees in the fastest time possible. I want you to time yourself. If you can get under 6 minutes from the start then that is really good. You can do this type of workout 1-2x a day since its quick in duration but packs a whopping calorie burn for a long period of time. Each day that you do this mini workout, try and cut down the time it takes you to finish all 100 Burpees. Another type of workout you could do is a body weight combination circuit of exercises. You dont even need a gym to do these exercise, you can do them in the comfort of your own home. For example, you can utilize density training where you do an exercise for a timed amount. A great workout that you can do right now is:
A1: 30 seconds of Burpees
A2: 30 seconds of body weight squats
A3: 30 seconds of push ups
A4: 30 seconds of jumping jacks
A5: 30 seconds of walkouts
A6: Plank for as long as possible.
The whole point of this workout is doing each exercise in a row for 30 second a piece. Once you get through everything, rest until your heart rate comes back down and then repeat the whole sequence again. Try to do to everything inside of 20-30 minutes.
All in all, the fastest way to burn fat is through a combination of intense and strict dieting paired with a kick butt exercise program like the two I listed above. You dont need to starve yourself and you dont need to run on the treadmill for hours on end every day. That stuff is pointless and definitely not healthy for you. If you just tightened up your diet like I talked about above and followed one of these workouts, I guarantee you will lose fat at the fastest rate possible.
