subject: Difference Between A Suv And A Crossover Vehicle [print this page] What is the difference between a crossover and an SUV built on a car frame? I called the Acura dealer about the Acura RDX, and they said that the RDX is a crossover, and it is built on a car frame.
There are over forty SUVs and almost thirty Crossovers that make up this segment. When PIN reported that SUVs were on the long tooth side of the dealers lot they were being kind to SUVs. The SUV segment is comprised of two types of vehicles - the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) and the Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV-CVT-or just Crossover)
What is the best suv for hauling a two horse trailer? I am looking to buy an suv that I will mostly use for running around town but will occasionally haul a two or three horse bumber pull with. What is the best SUV for this?
Do you already have the trailer? Down here in horse country most everyone uses a one ton crew cab pick-up with a goose neck trailer. Geo tracker. Before you even consider buying an SUV find out how much the GVWR, (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) is. Or the manufacturers recommended capacity of the trailer including the weight of the trailer itself and any thing being hauled in it. Thats the best way to find the best SUV/TRUCK to haul your horse trailer.
Does anybody have the link to the story on Yahoo this morning a mechanic who found a way to save gas 4 SUV's?
Suddenly, it's 1975 all over again! I don't have to listen to this crap, because I lived through it the last time. OMG I didnt realize I could run my car on water.Wow. I think whoever started that story is blowing smoke you know where. It still smells the same. Don't you wonder why these geniuses weren't running cars on water when gasoline cost $1 a gallon? You might be referring to http://www.Waterpetrolcar.Com If this is so great, why haven't the manufactures used this procedure?
What is the fastest/most fun to drive suv for under $23,000?
If your planning on keeping it for over 5 yrs or 100k miles get a honda cr-v That being said there isnt a fast fun to drive SUV for $23k. You don't buy an SUV for "Fastest" And you don't buy a V6 for "Fastest" So based on this, it appears you have no idea what you're asking for. None but if you must have an SUV for under $23k with a V6 I would try a Ford Escape, you can get them for dirt cheap they are pretty decent car.
What should I expect from him? I lent my SUV to my friend while I was a t work? And when I got home my GPS was missing from my glove box.
A great rule to follow in life, to avoid all sorts of problems, is never loan people cars or money. If the suv wasn't broken into, then he took it. Tell him to give it back. Just say no and life is much easier and less expensive. Ask him about, assuming that no one broke into your car. But make sure you're 99% sure he took it. It would be bad if you confronted him and then found it afterwards. And maybe to avoid a repeat in the future, don't let anyone borrow anything! I find that whenever I lend things to friends they come back I a different condition than before, things are missing, or they don't come back at all.
