subject: Apple Iphone 4s 16gb Four Million Unit Sales And Still Counting! [print this page] Within three days of its official launch in 70 countries starting with the USA, UK, France, Germany, Australia and a few other markets, the Apple iPhone 4S is vanishing off the mobile phone store shelves across the globe sooner than people like you and me can say 'Ap ple'. It has sold no less than a whopping four mllion units in these markets alone and substantes the crazy (it then seemed so) claim that the Apple iPhone 4S has received a good one million unit demand as pre-orders. This was rubbished by some quarters as a tall and unrealistic boast that has only been made as part of a large-scale global level marketing campaign by the Cubertine company.
Here, it would be necessary to mention that of the three models available it is the Apple iPhone 4S 16GB deals that is making the most of the inroads into the purses, pockes and hands of the valued customers. The 16 GB model probably is the right size for most users. And even cost wise it is more affordable.
To Apple's credit, it did not slacken or lag behind in any way and there was not a single day's let up anywhere. All the orders that were simply pouring in from all sides (mind you, it was a heavy downpour that was widespread) and all the individual and vast number of orders for the fifth generation iPhone was met promptly and without any hassles of delay. It was a clinical performance on the part of the number one technology firm all acorss and all around.
Apple managed even to bring out the White edition of the next generation iPhone simultaneously even as the original black version was beginning to make serious inrooads into the market share of rival smartphone devices. According to many mobile phone industry experts, the arrival of the Apple iPhone 4S has meant a direct fall out on Android smartphones that have suffered both a sequential decreas in sales as well as lower sale figures when seen year-on-year.
The Morgan Keegan, market analyst Mr Travis McCourt has stated so in his recently released release note. He has pointed out to a 12 per cent sequential fall of smartphones for 2011 and also a 24 per cent decrease when calculated year-on-year.
Apple has very intelligently shouted from the roof top about the 'Seri'' voice command feature and almost as an after thought stated that the software is still in the 'beta' phase and improvement are very much on the pipeline and in the near future only.
