There is nothing permanent in this world, except change. It is one of the common saying that throws light on the changing world. It holds true in the world of technology. Every now and then, there are some changes made in this field such that a person is always busy updating his/her skills to the best he/she can. One of the major changes that are believed to bring a revolution soon is Semantic Web solution, also known as Web 3.0.

It is supposed to be a man-made woven web of data that is much helpful in assisting machines to understand the meaning of information on internet. Semantic web is something beyond web 2.0 or web 1.0. Web 1.0 is linear presentation of information and web 2.0 is multi-linear presentation of information, whereas web 3.0 is web of interwoven data that can be processed by machines. This enhanced web was introduced with the vision to assist machines in understanding and responding to complicated human requests.

It is continuously evolving and improving its framework of standards and had brought it to light that to make something understood to machines, content should be systematically structured, besides strategic proliferation of tools. It is beyond doubt that intelligible and understandable information, required for automated processing take lots of time for being ready to use.

Web 3.0 drives the evolution of current web by enabling users to find, share and use information easily. One cannot deny the fact that searching for information such as price of music system or any address can be done only under human beings supervision through internet. The main aim of this new enhanced web is to make machines ready to interpret this information such that more of tedious tasks, including finding or acting upon information can be performed easily.

Semantic web involves more than XHTML, as it ensures describing data and associating meaning with it. In order to make data understood to machines, it is necessary to have something far more than natural language and relationships, constituting letters and words. Web 3.0 consists of standards and tools of XML, RDF, XML Schema, RDF Schema and OWL. The OWL is web ontology language that describes functions and relationships of these components.

Semantic web solutions overcome problems of HTML, a traditional language in which web content is written. The languages, XML (Extensible Mark up Language), RDF (Resource Description Framework) and OWL (Web Ontology Language) are the common languages used in it. HTML illustrates documents and links between them.

So, this technology is going to bring a major change in the world. A software development company should be well acquainted with these technologies in order to avoid ending up with obsolete services.

A web development company can provide the required support to clientele in getting stare-of-art services. One needs to deal with a good web solutions provider who has a team of expert professionals to look after its business. There are many software development service providers in market, but one can look for such a provider by carryout extensive research and going through several surveys.
