Sometimes you need a treatment for facial acne. However, in other cases, with the passage of time, the skin problem disappears leaving no scars on the face and body automatically. It depends on the kind of acne you're suffering from and its intensity.

It is important to bear in mind that a good cleansing of the skin is essential to get rid of facial acne.

To help prevent the accumulation of fat that can cause facial acne, wash your face twice daily with soap and warm water. But most importantly, never scrub your face hard with a towel. Reason is your that greasiness of acne worsens, thus irritating the skin and pores. Also don't try to squeeze the acne grains.

Try to wipe your face as gently as possible. If you ear makeup or sunscreen, make sure the label says "contains no oil," or "does not cause facial acne," or anything similar. Such creams don't clog pores or cause acne facial, while oil containing can. Using such creams, which contain oil, can worsen your acne to a great extent, so it's important to be cautious of that. Also, when you wash your face, be sure to devote enough time to take off all makeup.

If you are using sprays or hair gel, be sure your hair are not in contact with your face, because they can also clog pores.

If you have long hair that touch your face, remember to wash your face frequently enough to prevent contact with hair oil. If at times you do get in contact with oil, for example, at a fast food restaurant or gas station, always wash your face well when you get home. Also wash your face after exercising.

It is known that if you have facial acne it's not a healthy habit to touch the pimples. Peeling is discouraged in these cases, but they can be helpful when facial acne is gone and you want to erase the scars of the skin.

Foods that should be eaten should be those which don't have excess fat. Green vegetables are recommended.

All in all, maintaining a good and healthy hygiene is all that matters the most. Make sure you follow the guidelines your dermatologist tells you, take any prescribed drugs but most importantly, don't forget the importance of taking care of your health and your skin in general.
