There are those that think of the changes as merely about things you can touch, and they are preparing for what might or might not happen without thinking about spirituality at all. For someone to purely plan only for survival would, of course, find catastrophic environmental changes a scary situation. If you fall into that category then you may want to comprehend the situation better. There really is tremendous hope for this planet. If you fully understood the situation here on earth, youd not be in fear. You would recognize this change as a movement of great beauty and grace.
What I am about to say is outside the normal belief patterns of humankind. Initially, when the words are heard, they are usually thrown away. I realize that it is hard to believe, for almost everyone who has been your instructor since childhood has likely told you something different.
In the Hindu religion the physical world is called 'maya', which means 'an illusion'. How can anyone say that this solid life is merely an illusion?
Because it is the Truth. Our mind gives the outer world its qualities based on the belief patterns of our parents, teachers and society.
Even every great new invention that has ever been created first was just a thought inside the mind of a person. If you told them that within a couple hundred years, man would go to the moon and beyond, they would be sure you were nuts. They are merely ignorant of the possibilities of life. We have a similar problem here in this modern world.
A natural spiritual person recognizes the world as an extension of his or her own consciousness. There is no inside and outside, its all interconnected. The Hopi dont even have words for such a way of seeing. When we say there is a tree over there meaning separate from us, the Hopi say there is a tree over there 'inside' themselves. You then have disconnected yourself from God, and then must 'do' everything by yourself.
If you live and understand that everything is connected into a single body, a single living conscious universe that is as your Mother and Father, then you become childlike and all things become become very easy. Did not Jesus say that you would not enter the kingdom of heaven unless you become as a child?
Some people call this 'true prayer'. This is 'how' prayer can change the world or any situation. True prayer is praying to God that is within us. it is knowing that the prayers are heard and that the results will positively happen.
It is in this metaphysical wonderland that I have found the answers in my life. I welcome whatever earth changes that Mother earth has to give. I am absolutely certain that she loves me. I know that she will guide me at each moment to find the 'best' way to live through these amazing times. And she has made it clear to me to keep envisioning the world becoming clear of pollution and healthy and peaceful. But not from fear of being destroyed, but from my heart with great love for her. I believe in her, I believe in myself and I believe in you. Don't be afraid, feel the love. Let in the power and love of the universe and become your true Self. its within you now, and it is perfect.
