In this realistic and challenging video game, the player first selects his/her own dog and, through interactive trial and error, teaches the dog the four basic behaviors required for retrieving ducks.
After the dog is trained, then the player selects from six real hunting preserves located in North America. These are beautiful and wild places, surrounded by water. The player also selects the correct camo he will wear and the proper shotgun for the selected preserve.
The player is accompanied by his dog to the preserves duck blind and he places his decoys in the lake or river. Next, he learns how to call the ducks by using three different calls. Hearing the calls, the wild ducks will begin to fly in towards the duck blind. Note, if the hunter has chosen the wrong camo, the ducks will not come in as quickly and as close.
Once the ducks are visible, the player rises up and, using his body action, aims his gun (his remote controller) to place the cross hairs over the flying duck and pull the trigger. Its a game of skill, just like shooting a real duck! But, its great fun.
Once the duck is shot his score registers and, after he has shot six ducks, he will then step outside the duck blind and call his dog to him.
Now, just like real life, he will line the dog with the fallen duck he wants to retrieve and send him. If the dog gets offline to the duck, the player stops the dog and, using his arm movements, re-direct the dog towards the duck until the dog gets within ten feet of the bird. Then the dogs sense of smell takes over and he retrieves the duck back to the player at the duck blind. This delivery adds more to his score until he gets all his fallen ducks. The scores number is based on many statistics: how far out the duck was shot, how quickly the duck was retrieved, etc.
Its exciting and realistic and its not only for shooting and retrieving, its also educational! And, your child can multi play and compete with his/her friends for the best score!
