Transportable vessels: These are among the most commonly used pressure vessels. But since they are used so rampantly their maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. They come in different sizes and are usually available in a cylindrical shape. They need to be checked for faultless performance once in every 10 years and they should ideally be repaired or scrapped if they are not up to the mark.

In addition to this, there are several other types of vessels & tanks that are in use these days. No matter what type of pressure vessel one is using, the maintenance is of utmost important. For starters, such a vessel cannot afford to have even the minutest of cracks, punctures or ruptures. It could lead to leakage or possible explosions. The knobs, screws and latches of such vessels should be sealed perfectly, leaving no gaps whatsoever. The vessels are usually made by manufacturers involved in heavy machining production. Such vessels should be made from a material that has high tensile strength and can also withstand the caustic nature of certain chemicals that are store in these vessels.
