How to define the quality of the Motorola Xoom? Maybe we can't, but the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) surely can. During the event, this Android based tablet won the Best of Show award. The Android Xoom features a 10.1 inch widescreen HD display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution for console-like gaming performance and state of the art Wireless-N Wi-Fi connection which supports 802.11 a/b/g wireless networks. In addition, when browsing the internet, users can also gain access to limitless content (including web sites, movies, games, and so forth) without compromise, thanks to the Adobe Flash Player support.

The Motorola Xoom measures 9.8 in x 6.6 in x 0.5 in and weighs 1.6 lbs. At the nerve center of this tablet is a super powerful 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core mobile processor. The tablet runs Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system, but it is now upgradeable to the latest version of the platform, the 3.2 Honeycomb. The operating system allows for unlimited access to your favorite Android apps, customization, notification, multi-tasking, and browsing, all within a multi-touch and holographic user interface. The tablet also comes with the latest Google Mobile technology which provides users with access to more than 3 million Google eBooks, Google Maps 5.0 with 3D interaction, and Google Talk which enables voice and video chat via Wi-Fi.

For the video chat feature, you can use the tablet's front facing 2 MP camera along with a built-in microphone. For picture-taking and video capturing purposes, the Motorola Xoom is also equipped with a rear facing 5 MP camera that comes with an LED flash. You can use this camera to capture high-resolution still images and record 720p HD videos. Besides the two built-in cameras, this mobile gadget also comes equipped with a multitude of state-of-the-art features, which include accelerometer, gyroscope and barometer sensors, e-compass, GPS, and adaptive lighting to indicate new applications.

The Motorola Xoom has a 32 GB internal memory, which is expandable with external microSD cards through the possibility of future software upgrades. It is also offers Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, 720p HD video playback, personal and corporate e-mail access, Micro USB port, 3.5 mm headphone jack, as well as HDMI audio/video output which allows users to connect the tablet to a compatible monitor or HDTV. The Motorola Xoom tablet uses a 3250 mAh that allows you to browse the Internet via Wi-Fi or watch your favorite movies up to 10 hours non-stop.
