subject: Better Living Experience In Bethesda Real Estate, Maryland [print this page]

Everyone, or any home buyer for that matter would ask: Does an ideal residential location exists? If for an ideal residential location we mean that it should have excellent schools, a thriving economy, a number of laudable amenities, and low crime rate, then, there exists such many places, and one of them is Bethesda in Maryland. With many recognitions under its belt, no wonder it has been considered as one of the best places in America to live your dream. Here are some of those accolades given by prestigious companies and organizations to the place which once took its name from a local church and now has evolved as the 13th largest city in the State.

Listed as a medium-sized community by Forbes, it is considered as one of the most affluent and highly educated cities in the country, placing first in the Forbes list of Americas most educated small towns. With 55,300 population, 96.97% are high school graduates, while 78.88% have college degrees. Its major workforce (97.51%) is employed in white-collar jobs, such as managerial, sales, business and finance, and office work.

In April 2009, again, Bethesda was included in the list of Americas Most Livable Cities by Forbes. The magazine said, Looking for a better way of life? Start your search with these places. And Bethesda real estate was favored because of its income growth per household, low crime rate, employment opportunities, cost of living, and leisure activities. Now, thats just the very prescription for a quality of life isnt it? Although Bethesda homes for sale are comparably higher than the rest of its same-sized cities, the relatively high ratio of home ownership somewhat reflects the stability of the local community and/or economy.

With quality of life factors present in Bethesda, no wonder families flock here and make this city their residence. With a high number of college-educated adults and a good school district, this place is but conducive for school children and would-be collegiate students. Individuals below the poverty level are in a meager 3%, comparatively lower than the State and the nations average. Its demographic base is spread as well, having young singles, newlyweds, and seniors considering Bethesda their home.

Bethesda is a perfect example of an urban suburb, having a balance of a Metro feel with a distinct yet laid-back lifestyle of a suburb. Everything you need or want to go to are either a walking distance or a short drive away from, such as restaurants, movie theaters, malls, shops, gyms, community parks, and offices. Houses and apartments, including Bethesda homes for sale, are but strategically placed within the city, near to many, if not all amenities. By trail hubs, cars, bikes, bus, or just by mere walking these are the best means to move around the city and in other parts of Maryland.

If you are in that confusing stage of moving somewhere else or not, then, why not make a visit to this place and consider their prescription for a better way of life. Theres no harm in trying, many have succeeded, and had aimed at Bethesda as their residence.
