I work for a large electrical distribution and retailing business based in the UK. I have used metal roll cages to pick out product into since I have been working with them and it is without doubt the best solution for us to pick, pack and distribute from warehouse to retail outlet. Because they are made of mild steel they are incredibly robust although lightweight to manage even when full.

The issue however is due to the dynamics of our business we experience major supply spikes for holiday seasons including Christmas and also for any new major product launches which can be as many as 300+ a year. Hiring is really a good deal cheaper than purchasing and in leaner months we do not have an abundance of roll cages taking up valuable space.

This allows us the versatility of always having the right equipment for the job at all times. Booking in advance also safeguards our business around the Christmas period.
